VIDEO: In Case You Missed It, Primetime Got A Bit Hilarious Last Night

Those tuning into RTE's Primetime got a little more than they bargained for last night, when a technical fault left programme bosses with red faces and the Twitterverse on fire. A planned discussion on the ongoing crisis in the Ukraine featured an interview with Russian ambassador Maxim Peshkov but an audio glitch meant that rather than the intended feed, viewers were left listening to a single quote on a loop for ten minutes. The unfortunate quote in question was "Irish Ukranians Not Russians", leading some commentators to wonder whether there was more than technical gremlins at play.
