Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams has claimed that RTÉ are refusing to provide ample coverage to the party.
Following last night’s Leader’s Debate, the Belfast native took to Twitter to chastise the national broadcaster for refusing to cover Sinn Féin’s daily press conferences and work.
Gerry took to the Sinn Féin Facebook page and posted a video about the work he has been doing in recent days, including his visit to Circle of Hope, a suicide awareness and prevention group in Togher, Co. Cork, which RTÉ chose not to broadcast.
He wrote:
“Over the past 2 days RTÉ news has refused to broadcast their interviews with Gerry Adams or cover our daily press conferences. Today Gerry met with Circle of Hope, a suicide awareness and prevention group, and visited a family centre in Togher. Watch this video to see what RTÉ refused to broadcast. Please like and share.”
