The national forecast says we can expect that "heavy rain will then move up across the country overnight, with the ongoing risk of thunder as well as localised flooding". Tomorrow should see the thundery conditions "retreat to Atlantic coastal counties" and this is likely to continue throughout most of the day with risks of spot flooding. The good news is it will be dry and bright in the rest of the country but of course, showers are never far away either. You can check out the Met Éireann forecast in full here.Dry & bright in E now but scattered showers in W will become widespread this afternoon, some heavy with a risk of thunder. Highs 14 to 18C.
