According to Met Eireann, the high temperatures haven't been totally lost because highs up to 19 degrees are expected over Saturday and Sunday.
Not the worst news we've heard in a while, tbh.
On Saturday, temperatures will stay between 15 and 19 with a few light breezes scattered around to keep the place fairly cool. There'll be some showers in the east and south in the morning but these will disappear as the day goes on.
Sunday will be a similar kind of day with patchy rain affecting western counties but overall, it'll be dry and sunny enough across the rest of the country.
