If you haven't heard of Tattle Life, you might know about it now.
Known as one of the most toxic parts of the internet, the gossip website gained lots of attention since the reveal of the website owner's identity.
Sebastian Bond was revealed as the owner, and since then, celebrities, the public, and influencers have spoken out about the treatment they received from the gossip forum.
Tattle Life is a forum website that comments on and critiques influencers, celebrities, and public figures.
The website has caused many controversies and harm towards the people they critique, such as Brian Dowling.
He expressed his delight at the owner's identity reveal and shared how the comments on Tattle Life almost destroyed his reputation:
“They have tried to destroy our reputation, ruin our lives in fact with the vile-ness they have been saying.”
Other creators have also spoken up about their experience.
As per Mail Online, Skincare expert Caroline Hirons spoke about how she was stalked, harassed, and was sent death threats from commenters on Tattle Life:
"Tattle is stalking, death threats, I really need to hammer that message home," she said.
"Everything that site says in terms of we monitor everything, we didn't know this was happening, it's all lies. It's not an untruth, not a mistake. It's lies.
"They have systematically harassed, abused, stalked families, they posted mortgage docs, they've posted of my grandchildren in my home. You have no idea."
Irish influencer Siobhan O'Hagan spoke on RTÉ's Prime Time about Tattle Life users who would lie and try to ruin her life:
"They've done whatever they can to try to sabotage me. I don’t really know what they want me to do.
"But, in terms of influencing, I work with a lot of businesses, and I know they contact them and send them lies."
Last week, news broke that the identity of Tattle Life's owner was revealed.
As per the Journal, Sebastian Bond's identity was revealed as the owner of the gossip forum after being sued by Neil and Donna Sands.
The tech entrepreneur won €300,000 in their defamation and harassment lawsuit over the “abusive comments” made on the forum.
According to Goss, Sebastian Bond is a UK national who owns the UK company, Yuzu Zest Limited.
He also owns the Hong Kong-registered company, Kumquat Tree Limited.
During the lawsuit, Bond's alias was also discovered, that of Bastian Durward, a vegan cooking influencer.
Since word broke about the toxic website and the treatment people have received, it's no surprise that more influencers are speaking out about.
And I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot more in the coming days.
