The wife of the London attacker has released a statement

The wife of Khalid Masood, the man who killed innocent people during his attack on Westminster last week, has spoken about the attack.

According to The Guardian, Rohey Hydara released a statement to the Metropolitan Police, saying:

“I am saddened and shocked by what Khalid has done.

I totally condemn his actions.

I express my condolences to the families of the victims that have died, and wish a speedy recovery to all the injured.

I would like to request privacy for our family, especially the children, at this difficult time.”

Rohey spoke out and echoed similar words which were released by the attacker’s mother who also said that she does not condone or support his actions.

Khalid killed four people, three who died after he drove his car onto a footpath and a fourth person, a police officer, who he stabbed to death outside Westminster.
