The winning €4.3million Lotto ticket was sold in Limerick

That’s Limerick City.

Last night, the Lotto Jackpot was a staggering €4.3million, and somebody, somewhere, is currently holding on to the winning ticket. And they’re most likely in Limerick.

We can reveal this morning that the winning ticket was sold at Whitty’s Mace supermarket in Caherdavin, Co. Limerick.

The thrilled store owner, DJ Whitty, said today: “I cannot believe it. When the call came through last night I was in shock. This is the second Lotto jackpot winning ticket we’ve sold in our 21 years in business here. It is fantastic for the town of Caherdavin and there’s a great buzz around the town this morning. I’ve no idea who the winner is but we hope it is one of our local customers.”

However, nobody has come forward yet to claim the life-changing amount of money.

The National Lottery today appealed to all its Limerick players to check their tickets to see if they have hit this dream-like jackpot. The winning numbers were: 1, 7, 10, 17, 35, 37 and bonus number was 63.

So if you’re from Limerick and you play the Lotto, you know what to do… And don’t forget to give us a reasonable slice for reminding you to check your pockets.
