A woman in US has been charged with second-degree manslaughter after shooting her boyfriend in a Youtube stunt that went wrong.

Pedro Ruiz, 22, died after being shot in the chest by his partner Monalisa Perez, 19, while filming a video. Ruiz had been holding up a hardback encyclopaedia to protect himself from the bullet, reports Euronews. Perez told authorities that she was holding the gun 30cm away from Ruiz when she shot it at him. It shouldn’t have happened like this.
