A woman has been arrested for leaving an angry note on an ambulance and verbally abusing paramedics.
The woman left a handwritten note on an ambulance in Staffordshire that read:
“If this van if for anyone but no. 14 then you have no right to park here.
“I couldn’t give a shit if the whole street collapsed. Now move your van from outside my house.”
The note was shared online by paramedic Katie Tudor who said that the crew also received “a load of verbal abuse.”

Sky News reports that the woman who left the note on the ambulance has been arrested.
John Owen, Commander of policing in Stoke-on-Trent North, said on Twitter:
“We have arrested a 26-year-old female for public order offences.
“Emergency Services must be able to carry out their roles without fear of abuse/intimidation of any kind.”

This comes after Katie tweeted Staffordshire police asking if there was anything that could be done about notes such as these that were becoming “a regular occurrence.”
Last month, Katie shared a similar message concerning another instance where she was shouted at for “blocking the road.”
She wrote:
“Please don’t shout at me for blocking your parking space when I’m trying to coordinate the extrication of a pt in cardiac arrest!!
“We are desperately trying to save someone’s life and could do without angry bystanders!”

Similarly, last year an unknown person in Birmingham left a note on an ambulance reading: “You may be saving lives but don’t leave your van in a stupid place and block my drive.”
Paramedics tweeted the note and it was met with much criticism.
The patient they had been seeing to later died in hospital.
