A woman has reportedly sustained multiple injuries after falling from a window at Cavan General Hospital today.
It’s believed that the accident took place this morning, when the woman fell from a window located in the day room of the hospital.
According to The Irish Times, she sustained a subdural haemorrhage and several fractures and has since been transferred to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
She is said to be in a serious condition and an investigation has been launched into the incident..
