A woman and her two children have died after a fire broke out in Clondalkin in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were alerted to the scene at Kilcronan Avenue at approximately 2:30 a.m, according to The Independent.
Reports suggest that there were five people in the flat at the time of the blaze, two adults and three children.
A 27-year-old woman and two little girls, aged 2 and 3, were taken to Tallaght Hospital but sadly, they passed away from their injuries a short time later.
Another woman believed to be in her 30s, and a four-year-old boy are said to be in a critical condition.
The scene has been sealed off and a technical examination will take place later today.
