I would like to go back to college immediately please.
There’s absolutely no need to tell you how long it’s been since I studied at DCU, but I can tell you I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Glasnevin campus.
My diet consisted of mostly chicken fillet rolls from the local Spar, I spent an embarrassing amount of time ‘resting’ on the couches of the Henry Grattan, and every so often I would skip across the road to The Slipper pub. At the time we liked to call it our ‘local’ but I’m sure the actual locals would highly contest that.
What I’m leaning towards with this history lesson is that not much could have made my college life better… aside from a Wowburger opening in The Slipper, that would have enhanced it for sure.
Well DCU students of the present day (and the actual locals) can revel and rejoice in this revolutionary burger news.

Wowburger announced on their official Facebook page last night that they are in fact opening some new digs.
It’s not a full service sit-down store of course but they will be open for contactless delivery and collection which is good enough for us!
