If we had to list out our dream modes of transport to get to work it would probably go a little something like, teleportation, bumper car or unicorn.
Which is why we could hardly believe our ears when we found out that the good folks over at mytaxi will be dishing out lifts up and down the Grand Canal in Dublin, in a bumper car. Yes folks, an actual bumper car.
What a fab idea? I mean, it's no unicorn but we will happily take it.
If you fancy a lift then you'll have to act fast because it's happening for one day and one day only - Wednesday April 5.
Full-size bumper cars will be the choice of transport between the Leeson Street and Baggot Street bridges. They'll be running from 7-11am, 12:30-2pm and 3:30-7:30pm.
The mytaxi app wants to help commuters in Dublin beat the traffic and to be honest, we couldn't think of a better way to avoid rush hour.
If you're looking to hitch a ride on Wednesday then get down there during the time slots for a chance to hop on board.
Talk about travelling in style!
This article is brought to you by mytaxi.Hailo has now changed to mytaxi but you can still get the same great service and more from the new mytaxi app. Making the move from Hailo to mytaxi is quick and easy, and you'll be ready to hail in no time! For more information on switching over or setting up the app for the first time, check out their website.
