YouTube star and mental health advocate Stevie Ryan dies

She had been struggling with depression.

Prominent YouTuber, actress and mental health campaigner Stevie Ryan has died at her home in L.A.

After an autopsy, the Los Angeles County coroner ruled that she died by suicide.

Stevie was renowned online for her celebrity impressions – she mimicked stars including Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber and landed a VH1 TV show, Stevie TV in 2012.

She also previously co-hosted Sex With Brody on E! and was known for her podcast Mentally Ch(ill), about mental health.

It’s reported that she had been battling depression and was struggling to cope with the death of her grandfather, whom she had lost recently.

Her ex-boyfriend Drake Bell tweeted last night to express his grief Stevie’s death.
