Katie Taylor has weighed in for tonight's WBO super lightweight title fight
We're rooting for her.
Katie Taylor has weighed in a pound heavier than her opponent for tonight's WBO super lightweight title fight in Manchester.
Speaking to RTÉ Sport's Jacqui Hurley, Katie said:
"I'm just ready to go now tomorrow night."
"It's been a great training camp for me over the last few months and I can't wait. I have a chance to make history so I'm staying focused and ready for the job at hand."
"This is what every fighter dreams of."
After becoming the undisputed lightweight champion, Taylor will fight Christina Linardatou, in the hopes of becoming a two-weight world champion.
Linardatou said:
"I believe it's going to be a great fight and it's going to be a 'war' fight, so expect that.
"Everyone there to support Katie Taylor, of course, but don't be sad if I beat the hell [out of her] tomorrow, okay!"
Come on Katie!
