Our 10 FAVOURITE buys from the brand new Ikea catalogue

We kind of want it all.

Trine Jensen-Burke

For Ikea fans, the month of August is pretty much the highlight of the year.

We are now just days away from the 2018 catalogue hitting stores across the globe, and we are literally dying to get our hands on the brand new 324-page book.

And we are not alone. With more than 200 million copies printed and distributed every year, the Ikea catalogue ranks alongside the Bible, the Quran and Harry Potter as one of the absolute favourite books in the world.

Lucky for you, we have been granted a few sneak peaks, and can report plenty of new products, an anticipated limited edition collection and some seriously inspiring decorating ideas.

Like always, this year’s catalogue also comes with a focus, and this year the Swedish design giant wants us all to show our living rooms a little love with the “Make room for life” theme, which “highlights home-furnishing solutions that enable people to live a better everyday life at home by helping them make room for the things they love,” according to a statement from Ikea.

Curious as to what you can expect? Well; here are 10 buys we will race you to the store to get our hands on:
