The 7 best dressed stars from the 26th annual SAG Awards

Olivia Hayes

There were definitely some show stoppers.

The Screen Actor’s Guild Awards took place in the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles last night. Of course, the celebrities in attendance brought all the glamour and glitz to the show – more than I expected, to be honest.

As there are so many awards this season, it’s safe to say the best gowns will be saved for the Oscars, however the SAG Awards didn’t disappoint and between Millie Bobby Brown and Sophie Turner, there were some absolute show stoppers.

I’ve counted down my favourite looks from the red carpet, and it’s safe to say black, white and pink were major players.

Joey King wearing Jason Wu

The girl knows how to pull off a look. The actress wore a sheer lace Jason Wu gown with a velvet bodice. It’s sexy and sultry, and having her hair slicked back with dark make-up totally finished off the look.

Millie Bobby Brown wearing custom Louis Vuitton

Even though she is only 15-years-old she is becoming one of the most stylish starlets in Hollywood. Millie had a custom made Louis Vuitton creation last night that was heavily inspired by the 80s with puff shoulder and trousers.

Sophie Turner wearing Louis Vuitton

The colour. The fit. The hair and make-up. I am slow clapping to all of this. Sophie Turner’s bold pink Louis Vuitton dress completely stood out from the crowd last night and I am totally here for it.

Lupita Nyong’o wearing Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton seemed to be the designer of the moment last night as another one of my favourite looks came from the designer. Lupita’s dress design was unusual with its intricate floral embroidery and white satin bustier. Stunning.

Jennifer Aniston wearing Dior

If I’m being honest, this gave me Rachel Green vibes and I just can’t get enough. The slip dress was simple yet elegant and she paired it effortlessly with straight hair and simple make-up.

Cynthia Erivo wearing custom Schiaparelli

Red and pink is one of my favourite colour combinations and Cynthia did it justice. The dress is Oscars-worthy and probably my favourite look of last night. Cynthia is definitely one to watch this season.

Jennifer Lopez wearing Georges Hobeika

I adore what Jennifer wore last night simply because it looked so classic. The Georges Hobeika dress featured a strapless satin top and long train – not to mention the $9million worth of diamonds she paired with it. Iconic.
