Big Changes At Gucci: CEO And Creative Director To Leave Iconic Brand

The pair will bid farewell to the fashion brand early next year.

Gucci’s CEO and its creative director have reportedly both stepped down.

According to The New York Post, Patrizio di Marco and Frida Giannini have both stepped down from their positions with the iconic brand and will leave completely early in 2015.

The pair, who are a couple with one daughter, Greta, will leave within a few weeks of each other between January and February next year.

According to the brand a new creative director is yet to be appointed and the role will be filled “later on”.

The newspaper has alsop reported that sales at the brand have not been going well. The news follows in the wake of the CEO of Gucci watches

Michele Sofisti also leaving the company last week.

It is being rumoured that Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy may take up a position as a creative director.
