The Burberry Prorsum show which took place yesterday at Kensington Gardens was one of the most anticipated shows on the London Fashion Week calendar.
After the delights of its spring summer 14 collection, which featured ice cream pastels and feminine lace, this line was somewhat darker in keeping with the change of season.
There was an explosion of print on the catwalk: patterned scarves tucked into belts along with coloured bags and dresses formed much of the collection.
Lace made an appearance but in an understated manner this time round, slips peeking out from underneath dresses created that layered effect so popular in the cooler months.
Beautifully tailored coats, capes and throws meant that outerwear formed a large part of Christopher Bailey’s designs for autumn/winter 2014.
Tribal, afghan, floral and lace patterns made for a mismatched collection on paper but it came together perfectly on the catwalk.
Another talking point of the Burberry show was the celebs seated on the front row: Anna Wintour, Harry Styles, Tinie Tempah, Poppy Delevingne and Paloma Faith were just some famous faces in attendance.
However, it was Bradley Cooper who held our attention, the Hollywood actor turned up to see his model girlfriend Suki Waterhouse walk in the show.
These two are just too cute, having being pictured together frequently in the last few weeks it looks as though they are in it for the long haul.
Don’t take it too hard, we can still feast our eyes on the glorious specimen that is Mr Cooper!
