You can now get your fave Insta snaps printed on beach shorts

This weather has us rethinking our summer wardrobes.

The sun is most certainly shining today.

And if all the warmth, SPF30, and BBQ vibes have you rethinking your summer attire, we have some pretty exciting news.

Yup, it has come to our attention that it is now possible to get your favourite photos printed onto a pair of chic beach shorts.

The brand behind the move – Orlebar Brown – is already popular with the likes of Hugh Jackman, Jay Z, and Ryan Reynolds. Meanwhile, Daniel Craig wore a pair as 007 in Skyfall.

So yeah, the brand is very much geared towards men. Though after learning we can customise them, we’d happily rock a pair this season too.

“Fabulous travel photos, pet pictures, inventive drawings, doodles and graphics — it’s amazing to see the variety of images people have submitted for their #SnapShorts and how they’re experimenting with the app,” Orlebar Brown himself told the New York Post recently.

The service is available at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. But better still for Ireland-based folk, you can also order your pair online, with delivery taking four weeks.

“Photography and creative design are at the heart of everything we do,” the brand says. “Ever since we started our photographic edition swim shorts for our 5th year anniversary our customers have been asking us for the chance to make their own.

“The new ‘Design-Your-Own’ service is an amazing opportunity for everyone to get involved, and it doesn’t have to be a landscape or beach photograph, it could be a doodle or drawing – whatever inspires you.”

The cost comes in at around (gulp) €450 – but Orlebar Browns are priced from €100 for entry-levels pairs anyway and they all do come with a five-year guarantee.
