Cheryl reminded us all of that rather brilliant X Factor memory when she shared a throwback of her green Lanvin gown on her Instagram account yesterday, to celebrate St.Patrick’s Day.
The mother to be posted the below photo with the fun caption “little green action #fbf for St. Patricks’ Day”.
In case your memory needs refreshing, this refers to the time Simon Cowell compared Cheryl to Kermit the Frog.
It was during the 2014 series when Cheryl and Simon were having one of their many light-hearted disagreements, and this one referred to a performance from contestant Stephanie Nala.
As you’ll see from the clip below, Simon said:
“I want to say to Kermit, it’s not the reggae song it’s how you perform it”.

Cheryl saw the funny side and had a brilliant comeback, referring to the fact that she wasn’t the only “muppet on the panel”.
