We’ve officially reached peak Chip Cup.

Yes, Penneys has already supplied us with a purse, a mug, cushions, and a load of accessories including jewellery and key-rings.

However, the retailer has come up trumps once again – this time unveiling a pair of Chip Cup slippers.

Priced at £8/€10, they were spotted recently in a Limerick Penneys. They’re furthermore landing throughout the UK this week.

Of course, it’s no secret that here at Her, we’re fairly enthralled with all things Disney. Still, we’re not entirely convinced about this offering (wouldn’t we have ungainly, monstrous feet?)… and it seems that the internet is equally divided.

“They upset me a little,” stated one commentator on Instagram, while another added: “These are weird.” A third said: “I think the chip mania has gone a little too far…”

Someone else was concerned about the practicalities of actually wearing such cuties, reporting: “These give me the fear; imagine me trying to walk on them!”

Others were more complimentary, saying that they’d definitely be adding the accessories to Christmas wish-lists.

And if you don’t fancy the Chip Cup style, Primark has Disney alternatives on offer – including Marie from Aristocats and Olaf from Frozen, as well as a Minnie Mouse version.

We’ve spotted some of the range in Ireland over the last number of weeks – however, it seems that stock is limited… so keep your eyes peeled!
