Courtney Smith’s Penneys skirt is a perfect one for those in-between nights over Christmas

You know those impromptu nights between Christmas and New years with the last minute drinks with friends or going for a bite to eat and you just don't know what to wear? That sequin mini dress you were thinking of wearing on NYE is way too dressy, but you don't have that elusive "nice top" when the gang suggest the classic combo in the group chat. Fear not, we have you covered. We spotted this gorgeous little silky skirt on stylist, Courtney Smith last night. The brunette beauty took to Instagram to show off her latest wardrobe addition and she offered some great styling tips. The midi skirt looked fab with high black ankle boots and a chunky knit, but equally looked great as part of a more neutral toned look. Chatting to her followers, Courtney said:

"I'm so into this little slip skirt... In stores at the moment because I know I'm about to get a gazillion messages about this!"

We're SO weak for it and living for some of the divine skirts Penneys have in store at the moment. Let's be honest, we all know we'll be legging it into stores after work as we bet Courtney's skirt is going to fly out!
