There are very few items that Rihanna wears that we can get our hands on.

Slouchy, knee-high, crystal boots - three words that don’t make us rush to the till. However, earlier this year Rihanna proved her fashion credentials when she was spotted wearing the seriously out-there YSL boots and changed our minds entirely. Yes, you might call it fickle, but that girl knows how to dress and she made those glitter boots look like a wardrobe staple. Her Instagram post resulted in a fairly hefty waiting list for the sparkly shoes that don't go on sale until September - a list we didn’t join thanks to the €7,827 price tag.

Well, fast forward a few months and one of our favourite high street retailers is now introducing a pair that is strikingly similar – if not more wearable. New Look is already getting set for *whispers* Autumn/Winter, and this week released a whole host of beautiful boots online. Well, the gals at LOOK magazine spotted these silver glitter boots that are a dead ringer for the YSL ones. The ankle-height beauties are currently only available on the UK site but that doesn’t mean us Irish girls can’t get our hands on them. For just under €40 you can bag yourself the Rihanna-approved boots. That’s a serious budget buy, if you ask us.
