The €10 Penneys runners that are identical to these Calvin Klein ones we spotted

Olivia Hayes

It seems to be the runner trend of the season.

While last year saw chunky trainers being the next big thing (they still are), it seems like another style of runner is making a big impact.

So much so, that both designer and high street brands are embracing the trend.

To be honest, it’s not stepping much away from the chunky style, but they’re way more refined.

We first came across these runners with a flatform sole in Brown Thomas. The department store is currently stocking a pair of Calvin Klein runners that match in well with the new trend (others, like Converse, have also adopted it).

These ones come in at €90 and while we think they look fab, we’re not too sure about paying 90 quid for them to be absolutely wrecked within a day.

And so, we hopped on over the the Penneys website to check out if they had any dupes… and lo and behold, they did.

While these ones have a line going through the flatform – and they obviously don’t have the CK logo – they’re pretty much identical to the designer pair.

Plus, coming in at €10 they’re a fraction of the price. You really can’t go wrong.
