We've waited a long time for this.

Last summer we were very lucky. We don't think we could have got much better luck with the weather. Day after day, the sun was splitting the stones, we had weekly meet-ups at the barge after work and we said goodbye to our winter woollies in April. This year has been a completely different story. We're still in our coats that we wore in November. We don't go anywhere after work because it's most likely raining and our hopes of a summer like last year dwindled hard and fast.
