Who doesn't love a designer dupe?

Now many of us can afford to pick up the latest bits from high-end brands, which is why we're ever-grateful to Penneys for sorting us out with cheaper alternatives. The Irish retailer has done it again with this bargainous pair of runners.

Nothing like a crisp white runner and these bad boys  would go perfectly with jeans, culottes or even just a pair of tracksuit bottoms. They're also a cut above other casual footwear thanks to the embellished bees that adorns their sides. Fans of Dolce and Gabbana might find them pretty familiar, as they're very similar to a pair designed by the Italian fashion house. Aside from the fact that the designer ones have Dolce branding around the back of the ankle, the only major difference between these and the Penneys ones is that they're accented in silver rather than gold. They're pretty much identical otherwise and we have to give the edge to Penneys, to be honest - the jewel detail is a winner for us. Pennies definitely wins on price too - for €16 you couldn't go wrong.
