This €25 New Look skirt is absolutely gorgeous (and comes in seven different colours)

The midi skirt has been one of our favourite transitional pieces over the last few weeks.

They're stylish. They're super flattering. They're also a great alternative when we're absolutely sick to death of wearing tights (which also makes them the perfect piece during this time of year, really - especially given the kind of weather we've been having lately). One of the ones to catch our eye recently is this €24.99 midi skirt from New Look - which we just know is going to be be one of those pieces we'll be reaching for again and again this spring. And, really, it would last you into the summer (and early autumn, too). It comes in seven - yes, seven - different colours: mustard, light pink, khaki, olive, rust, white and black. It is smart enough you could wear it to the office, but still casual enough that it'll do you for drinks in the evening too. We reckon it would look gorgeous with a pair of slide-ons and a denim jacket or a big cosy jumper thrown on top (if the weather becomes a bit cooler again). If not, how about pairing it with a cami and ankle boots - and maybe a biker-style jacket - for a night out?
