Like it or not, beige is massive for this season.

Usually a byword for bland or basic, the colour is everywhere right now as fashion fans jump on the neutrals trend.

While summer usually means an injection of colour into our wardrobes, fashion’s current beige obsession feels fresh and modern.

The shade is minimal, classic and expensive-looking and so is well worth investing in.

Stradivarius has gone big on the colour for its latest collection – like with this striped sundress (€19.99).

This piece is light and easy to wear, meaning you won’t want to take it off all summer long.

As for how to style beige? Keep it simple.

Pair it with white, cream, tan and other neutral colours and accessorise with gold jewellery.

Be careful to pick a shade that contrasts with your own skin tone too, so if you’re pale go for a stronger colour and vice versa if you have naturally darker skin.

This will help keep you from looking washed out or like you’re not wearing any clothes at all.
