Winter is well and truly upon us, meaning we're layering up as best we can to keep the cold out. We're talking a vest under a polo neck under a thick knit; we're not taking any risks before leaving the house in this weather. There are better ways of staying warm than wearing ten jumpers and looking like a bag lady, though. A trusty teddy coat, for example. It's the ultimate in Scandi chic - you'll feel like a Swedish girl off Pinterest bopping around the place in one - and is obviously ideal for this time of year. As ever, Penneys has its own take on this high-end trend and it's taken Instagram by storm.

We first spotted it on Irish blogger Love Lauren and since then it's gone a little bit viral. Gals as far afield as Paris and Lisbon have been snapping up the jacket in their droves and posting about it.

We weren't sure when or where we'd get our hands on it but we spotted it in Penneys stores in Dublin this week. Just look how snuggly it looks. For €30, you could do a lot worse than this bad boy. Let us know if ye've seen it in other stores around the country.
