We have all experienced the feeling of opening your wardrobe to see lots of clothes and yet somehow, absolutely nothing feels ‘right’.
Which is why we were particularly excited when we came across this midi dress from Fat Face – aka: the answer to that problem (particularly on cold weather days).
The Simone Blooms dress is made with “a supersoft cotton blend and features handy pockets for a great shape.”

And while florals are usually more suited to springtime and summer, this would definitely work for autumn if you pair it with the right pieces.
We definitely love the way that they have styled it on the website.
But to make it work with the wintry weather we’ve been having lately, you could pair it with a pair of tights, ankle boots and a biker-style jacket – or even a khaki-coloured utility-style one. Or a pair of trainers and a big, cosy cardigan.
And it definitely looks smart enough that it could take you from desk to drinks, too.
It comes in two different lengths – regular and long – and has been reduced from €58.50 to just €38.50.
