This €41 co-ord from Penneys really shouldn’t work but we’re obsessed

If this is wrong we don't want to be right.

How can you ever know if a trend is worth committing to?

To paraphrase Ferris Bueller, fashion moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you may get caught up buying things that you’ll wear once and then forget about at the back of your wardrobe.

It can be hard to know what to invest in and what’ll be past its sell-by date in six months, but we reckon that when you see the high street coming out with high-end looking takes on a trend, you can’t go far wrong.

Take this matching jacket and bottoms from Penneys.

Worn together, this is an outfit that falls under the definition of ‘so wrong it’s right’.

Squint one way and it looks like pyjamas, squint another way and it looks like a tracksuit Conor McGregor might wear.

What makes it brilliant is its expensive-looking print, subtle colours and silky looking material.

Though the jacket is €23 and the bottoms are €18, they look like they cost far more.

The co-ord trend is clearly here to stay and with pieces like this about, we’re not complaining.

Also going straight into our basket on our next trip to Penneys is this adorable blue and white dress.

We can’t wait for warmer weather and to get out of our woolly jumpers and socks, and change into our shorts and sunnies – and this dress is giving us all the holiday feels.

The light blue gingham print will be one of the top trends this season and you’ll no doubt see it everywhere on the high street.

We’re particularly loving the price of this gúna – with it coming in at only €12, it’s a total bargain.
