My new favourite summer outfit is this gorgeous €43 River Island dress.

The sun made a brief appearance this week and everyone went for it as is commonplace in Ireland when the weather is good. Dresses and shorts were reintroduced from the back of the wardrobe, BBQ season kicked off around the country and the first 99s of the season were consumed. Although the grey and dreary sky has since made a return, we're not about to give up on summer just yet and this €43 River Island dress is getting us very excited for the warmer weather to come. Stripes never go out of fashion, we adore the cream and black combination and the tie-detail is just so pretty. This is one piece I definitely plan on bringing on summer holidays and with any luck, we'll see temperatures rising at home too. The 'cream stripe tie back slip dress' is currently available in all sizes but we don't see it hanging around for too long as is often the case with must-have pieces. We love how it's been styled here with layered gold jewellery and if you added a pair of espadrilles, you'd have the perfect stylish summer ensemble.
