The €50 Zara dress I saw on at least 8 different people in London this weekend

A great heatwave piece.

One to snap up before everyone else does.

Unless you’ve been hiding indoors with no access to social media this weekend (no judgement here), you’ll be aware that we’re enjoying a bit of a heatwave at the minute.

People have been making the most of it in beer gardens and on beaches up and down the country before heading back to work on Tuesday.

The UK has been experiencing even hotter temperatures and gals there have been dressing accordingly.

I was lucky enough to spend time in London over the past few days and spotted one particular piece on loads of the city’s most stylish dressers.

This smock-style maxi dress from Zara seemed to be everywhere. I saw at least eight people wearing it on the tube, in pubs, on the street and in the park as London baked.

It’s just the kind of piece you want to have to hand when the weather picks up – it’s not only beautiful but would be comfy and cool in the heat.

You’d also get away with not shaving or tanning with it, which is always a plus in my book.

The gals I saw it on mostly paired it with sandals or runners but you could just as easily pop it on with heels for a night out.

The dress is €49.95 and in stores and online now.
