Electric Picnic is the last Irish festival of the summer so it makes sense that people go ALL out and you’re sure to see some spectacular looks in Stradbally this weekend.

With more than 50,000 set to attend, we’re anticipating what’s hot and possibly what’s not in the festival style stakes.

Join us on our trip down memory lane as we take a look at some of the stand-out fashion festival moments in years gone by.

Channel Kate Bosworth, the queen of festival fashion

Never underestimate the power of a block-coloured ensemble to pull off festival chic. Through the years this look has always been a style staple. All you need is a pair of shades and wellies to carry you through a whole weekend and as Kate proves, this is one look you’ll rock year after year.

The iconic 90’s

Even though we dread to think of some of the outfits our teenage selves wore, many of these looks are back in fashion and giving us style inspiration for EP 2017. 90’s fashion is back in this season and you can’t go wrong with a pair of denim dungarees for comfortable and on-trend style.

Katy Perry at Coachella

Fans of Katy Perry will know her style is anything but understated. And if there’s one celebrity to turn to in times of unique, festival inspiration, it definitely is her. Whether she’s sporting neon hair or the retro glamour look, she always stands out in the crowd. One of our personal favourites is this quirky ensemble from Coachella 2015. One way to brighten up a mucky weekend at EP….

Florence Welch at Glastonbury 2014

Florence is a modern day fashion icon and festival hero. With her flowy red locks and laid-back, effortless style, this is one lady who knows how to nail festival dressing.

Festival Hair

Kylie Jenner definitely has fun with her hair and is known for her bold, statement hair colours. This gal can rock any colour she likes but so can you! Check out the L’Oreal Colorista’ range here  Colorista Diagnostic, to give you some hair inspo for the weekend ahead. Blue, pink, purple………..take a walk on the wild side, it’s so much fun.

As festivals grow, they have to evolve, as do our outfits. Why not try something different this year?
