Entries for the Galway Races 'Virtual Best Dressed' competition are now OPEN
Glamour, but make it virtual.
The entires for the Galway Races' 'Virtual Best Dressed' competition are now open.
The Galway Races and Her's Best Dressed competition is back again, but this year we're doing things a little differently.
We can't all be together looking absolutely stunning at Ladies' Day this year, but we can do so in spirit... or rather, we can do it virtually - and win a few incredible prizes while we're at it.
To enter, all you need to do is dress up in your most glam outfit as if you're heading to Ladies' Day today (July 30), make a small donation to a charity of your choice, and share your photo on Instagram.
Our judges this year include Her's own Cassie Stokes and Gillian Fitzpatrick, as well as last year's winner and Miss Galway 2020 Pamela Uba (above).
Entries are open from 10am and close at 4pm today (July 30). Finalists will be announced at 5pm and the overall winners will be crowned at 7pm.
(N.B: the finalists and overall winner of the Best Dressed and Best Hat need to be available for interview in their race day outfit from 5pm today.)
So, without further ado, here's how to enter:
1. Snap a picture of yourself today, as if you are indeed heading to Ladies Day at the Galway Races
2. Make a small donation to a charity of your choice
The wonderful people at Galway's The Galmont Hotel & Spa are providing are main prizes this year, which include a two night stay in a superior sea view room for the lucky winner of the 'Best Dressed' competition, dinner on one evening, a bottle of Champagne on arrival and a spa treatment each in Spirit One Spa.
If you have the 'Best Hat' today, you'll win a two night stay in a sea view king room, dinner on one evening and afternoon tea. We also have some incredible goodies with thanks to LanaiBLO , Hair Talk Ireland, Trilogy Products Ireland and Box of Wine for all the finalists AND The Galway races festival are also providing the winner of 'Best Dressed' with a table for two on the Monday of next year's 2021 festival.
All that just for getting glammed up from the comfort of your own home. You'd be mad not to, sure.
Make sure you're following all of the glitz and glamour over on Her's Instagram page @herdotie.
