EXCLUSIVE: Pippa O’Connor talks about her new collection and must-have trend

Olivia Hayes

We can’t wait for the second collection to drop.

Earlier this year, Pippa O’Connor launched her first collection with Littlewoods and we fell head over heels for it.

The stylish businesswoman is consistently one that we look to for inspiration thanks to her keen eye to spot an affordable gem and her latest collection is proof of just that.

Sharing a sneak peek of the shoot for her second collection, Littlewoods announced the new edit, saying:

“Introducing the second edition of The Pippa Edit. Pippa’s second collection hosts fabulous pieces from luxurious velvet to on-trend prints.”

We nabbed some details from the fashion influencer about her new collection, as well as what trends to keep an eye on this season.

What is your favourite current fashion trend?

“My favourite current fashion trend would have to be wide-leg trousers. I absolutely love them and think that they are so flattering and make everyone look that bit taller and more long-legged.”

As a busy working mum of two, what is your top fashion tip to make sure you always look good?

“You don’t have to compromise your style just because you are busy! If you have an amazing outfit or a great coat you can dress it down too – put it on with runners or flat boots, there is always ways around everything! You can definitely make an outfit look more easily put together or more comfortable to wear.”

How important are accessories to finish off an outfit and do you have any favourites?

“Accessories can completely transform an outfit. They can add that little something that may have been missing from a look. I’m a contradiction when it comes to accessories as I love big gold statement earrings, but I equally love small delicate little chains and earrings.

“It is totally dependent on the outfit itself, but I think accessories are so important. The bags in this month’s Pippa Edit with Littlewoods Ireland are really gorgeous and oftentimes equally exciting as the clothing.”
