Designer Vince Camuto has passed away, aged 78.
According to various reports today, the cause of death was cancer.
It is thought that his wife Louise and five children were with him when he died at home in Greenwich, Connecticut.
The footwear and accessories designer rose to prominence after co-founding shoe label Nine West with former business partner Jerome Fisher in 1978.
He then went on to establish the Camuto Group in 2001 followed by Vince Camuto in 2005.
