This is the fashion designer who will dress Melania Trump for the presidential inauguration

Hilary won't be too impressed!

Three more days and Donald Trump will officially become President of the United States.

In turn, his wife Melania will replace Michelle Obama as the First Lady and her outfit for the inauguration has been much-talked about in the last couple of weeks.

It’s now been established that Ralph Lauren will design a bespoke gown for Melania, which has come as a surprise to many considering his vociferous support for Hillary Clinton during the election.

Ralph designed the black and purple suit Hillary wore to give her (fantastic) concession speech and it’s an outfit that won’t be forgotten for a long time.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, Ralph Lauren’s design team may also create outfits for other members of the Trump family but a spokesperson for the brand declined to comment on these rumours.

If reports are to be believed and Melania does wear Ralph Lauren, the designer will find himself at the centre of a media frenzy.

Back in 2009, Michelle Obama chose to wear Isabel Toldeo and immediately, the designer found herself inundated with attention and an immediate platform for her work.

Roll on Friday, I for one am intrigued to see what Melania wears…
