Fashion High Five – The V&A Collection At Oasis

Such pretty prints!

Cathy Donohue

New fashion collections make us very happy and the latest offering from Oasis has us all of a flutter.

The high-street store has collaborated with London’ s Victoria and Albert museum and come up trumps with a collection that merges print and colour beautifully.

There are eleven different patterns in total, all of which were taken from the archive of the V&A museum and we’ve included a few of our favourites in the gallery above.

Pretty tea dresses, kimono jackets, midi skirts sit alongside one of this season’s biggest trends, culottes, and if you haven’t braved a pair already, the printed beauties in this collection might persuade you to purchase.

The V&A collection also includes printed Gandy flip-flops, a footwear brand established by two brothers who were orphaned in the 2004 tsunami.

10% of the profits from the flip-flops will be donated back to Orphans for Orphans, a charity set up by the brothers to house children across the world.

If that’s not a reason to shop, we don’t know what is…
