Following in the footsteps of other A-Listers Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Ryan Reynolds, Amber is said to be ‘honoured’ to work with the iconic retailer.
Usually beloved by grannies, M&S has come under fire recently for trying to sex-up the brand by using Hollywood heavyweight like Huntington-Whitely and Reynolds and the retailer reported a fall in profits for the first time in three years in August.
We have to admit, we were a bit perplexed at the Rosie and Ryan love story last season and the idea of a sexy marks and sparks raised a few eyebrows so a more mature but equally glamourous campaign star seems to be a better fit for the brand.

Former model Amber Valetta is going back to her fashion roots
The Per Una campaign featuring Valetta was shot by Swedish fashion photographer Andreas Sjodin who usually shoots for Vogue, Elle and W magazines so it’s a huge coup for M&S and Amber looks amazing – effortlessly elegant but totally accessible.
And according to sources, the 38 year old model slash actress is said to have fallen in love with a gothic inspired black jacket on set so at least we know she might actually wear the clothes in real life. ‘I really like this jacket. I’m kind of a jacket girl. I feel like if you have a great pair of jeans or a great pair of trousers and a cool jacket you can wear anything underneath – it’s timeless.’
