Five Stunning Hotels Designed By Famous Fashion Names

WOW.

Cathy Donohue

Swoon.

We’re in the midst of fashion month and autumn winter designs are ruling the catwalks.

New York Fashion Week has just finished, London kicks off tomorrow and Paris is just around the corner.

To coincide with this, we’ve obtained some exclusive info from Hotels.com featuring some of the world’s top hotels designed by top fashion designers.

The G Hotel, Galway

We’re delighted to see one of our own establishments feature and if you’ve ever visited the G, you’ll know just how fabulous it is.

From the Pink room to the luxurious ESPA spa, Ahascragh native Philip Treacy came up trumps when he created the G.

The St Regis Hotel, New York

Designed by Christian Dior, the St Regis is the perfect mix of old school glamour and modern sophistication. With high ceilings, crystal chandeliers and a 5th Avenue address, you can have your very own Audrey Hepburn moment.

If we ever win the Lotto, this is where you’ll find us.

The Armani Hotel, Dubai

Located in Dubai’s Downtown District, you’re on the threshold of the city’s most glamorous venues.

Guests have ‘Lifestyle Managers’ which offer personalised services to suit the hotel’s guests and as you can see from the image below, it is seriously slick!

Giorgio Armani takes credit for this beauty and we need to go there. NOW.

Schlosshotel im Grunewald, Berlin

As creative director of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld is one of the fashion industry’s most revered figures.

This Berlin boutique hotel is exactly what you’d imagine Karl’s abode to look like: a personal library, stunning scenery and a very grand dining room.

Karl is rarely pictured without his sunglasses and usually dresses in black and unsurprisingly the decor in Schlosshotel in Grunewald is refined and elegant.

Claridges’s, London

Diane Von Furstenberg ruled NYFW last weekend with her dance party catwalk so it’s no surprise that the hotel designed by her is only gorgeous.

Marble fireplaces, statement prints and a Grand Piano Suite created just for Claridge’s make this place a once in a lifetime spot.
