Flower Power – Floral Fashion Favourites from Liffey Valley Shopping Centre

 

As the first sign of sunshine begins to glimmer on the horizon, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre has announced the dates of its annual Summer fashion shows.

On Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May some of Dublin’s hottest models will take to the purpose-built catwalk to showcase sizzling fashions from the centre’s lineup of fashion, footwear, accessories and lifestyle collections. 

Aptly named ‘Floral Pop’ the shows will embrace this season’s floral and neon bright trends and will profile key summer pieces from stores such as Marks and Spencer, Topshop, Coast, H&M, Dunnes and New Look.

Tamsin Foley, Marketing Manager of Liffey Valley, commented: 

“The Summer Fashion Shows are something we, at the centre, look forward to every year. With such a strong fashion line up it’s always great to be able to add a little glamour to the afternoon shop with a high energy, fashion-forward event that shows off what’s on offer across the centre.  

 “The shows are also great if you’re after a fresh new look and an idea of the hottest trends for a summer wardrobe. We always end up with several sell-outs and I’m certainly guilty of doing a bit of post-show shopping!”

In addition to the runway shows, Assets Model Agency Director, Derek Daniels will be in the centre scouting for the future faces of fashion as he brings his registration book in hope of finding the next Vogue Williams. 

Derek added: 

“The atmosphere at the Liffey Valley Fashion Shows is always fantastic and the models really enjoy doing the shows. There have been quite a few times I’ve clocked some definite model potential in the crowds but I’ve been so busy backstage I haven’t had a chance to approach anyone. This year I’m coming with my little black book so I can sign up some new faces.”

Shows are scheduled for 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm on both days across the weekend.
