The Duchess of Cambridge co-designed the Back to Nature garden for the Chelsea Flower Show and over the weekend, she brought her family along to see her handiwork.

The Cambridge children have been helping their mum prepare for the opening of the Back to Nature garden by collecting moss, leaves and twigs over the past few months.

Speaking ahead of the garden’s opening, Kate explained that she hopes it inspires families, children and communities to get out enjoy nature whilst also spending quality time together.
“I hope that this woodland that we have created here really inspires families, kids and communities to get outside, enjoy nature and the outdoors and spend quality time together.”
The Duchess also said that getting outside can have a major impact on physical and mental health.
“I really feel that nature and being interactive outdoors has huge benefits on our physical and mental wellbeing, particularly for young children”.
