Google’s new Shop the Look feature will make shopping online so much better

It’s like Shazam for clothes!

No matter how many fashion magazines or designer shows you see, sometimes the best style inspiration comes from girls walking down the street.

Street style is one of the most influential aspects of what women chose to wear.

Obviously it’s fine to approach someone on the street and ask them about their clothes but most of us feel awkward and let the moment pass and know we’ll never find out where it’s from.

Google seem to know that this is a real struggle for fashion-lovers and have therefore come up with a new feature to help.

The search engine is launching a new service, called Shop the Look, which lets you find clothes that you’re lusting after on the street or on bloggers.

You can search for a type of clothing, like ‘tan suede boots’ or something more general like ‘cocktail attire’ and the Shop the Look feature will pull together a list of bloggers and online fashionistas who’ve worn what you are looking for.

You can scroll through the options it provides and chose the one closest to what you are looking for.

It will then allow you to find them in online shops and combine recommended  accessories and additions to the look.

Google are currently testing the shopping feature in the US on mobile devices but we reckon it could be very popular when it launches worldwide.
