So, Gucci is selling a pair of filthy runners for a casual €690

Emily Lynch

Crazy right?

Gucci aren’t shy when it comes to setting new trends.

And it seems as though they’re taking things further with their new line of trainers.

If you hate washing your new runners, you’ll love the new shoes from Gucci.

The luxury fashion brand are selling runners that look like they haven’t been washed in months.

You can now skip out on the hard work of messing up your new, fresh out of the box shoes, because this new line of shoes already have that dirty and messy appearance.

But like everything, looks can be deceiving and this look comes at a price of €690.

The trainers come in two different variations of colours.

A pierced blue and white leather with a blue and orange nylon web and vintage appearance.

A white piercing and white leather with an orange and green nylon web and vintage appearance.

On their website, Gucci have described the shoes as a reference to “old school shapes and materials inspired by vintage sportswear”.

“Named for defensive sports move, feature the web stripe on the size and vintage Gucci logo, treated for an allover distressed effect.”

The Italian brand’s new Rhyton Leather Sneakers are chunkier, but also have the same dirty appearance and are available to purchase at the same price.

You may love it or hate it, but the chunky trend is in and they seem to be a major hit.

So hop on the bandwagon and join in with this huge trend – if you have the cash to spare, that is.

Would you fork out €690 for these filthy looking runners?
