Here’s The Lowdown On The Best Ladies Days To Head To This Summer

Summer racing season is in full swing, giving us the perfect excuse to get our glad rags on and have a fun day out. There are a host of festivals happening the length and breadth of the country from now until September and there's some pretty A-MAZ-ING Ladies Day prizes involved. Ladies days are the perfect occasion to wear that special dress and show-off your own unique sense of style. Galway Festival, Friday 31st July The winner of the "Fair Lady" competition winner on Friday of the Galway Races will win Friday’s “Fair Lady” at the Galway Festival wins prizes that includes a €500 VIP shopping experience in Athlone Town Centre and a luxury break for two in Athlone's Sheraton Hotel.

Prizes include stunning Waterford crystal and there's a few surprises in store, sponsored by Tramore boutique Redlane.

Listowel Harvest Festival, Friday 18th September

Seasoned racegoers will recognise this as as big festival and there's a serious amount of prizes to be won on the day.

The winner of the McElligott’s Honda Ladies Day will receive a cash prize of €3,000 while the first runner-up will receive €1,000 and second runner-up, €500.

Listowel Races are also sponsoring a prize of €500 for the most Glamorous Young Racer under 25 years of age, with a runner-up prize of €250.

The winners of the McElligott’s Honda Jazziest Headpiece will receive a cheque for €500 and the McElligott’s Honda Best Dressed Couple will win a weekend for two in Carton House.
