Welcome to Penneys Liffey Valley.
The new store opens tomorrow and having seen it first-hand, I can tell you it’s a shoppers paradise.
The lovely gals from Penneys HQ invited a small group of press and bloggers to see the store before it opened, travelling to the store on a Penneys bus. I mean, an actual Penneys bus.
Chatting to the ladies, they informed me that while there have been refurbishments and extensions to other stores, this is the first ‘new’ Penneys in a decade.
There’s a huge accessories section, an equally massive shoe section and of course, the clothes are fab too.
So great in fact that even with the best part of two hours in the (very large) shop, I didn’t make it past the style to homeware, epic fail on my behalf I know.
Still, that leaves me with an excuse to go back again soon although something tells me I’ll be battling the crowds the next time around.
