Reality TV star, author and designer Lauren Conrad has just launched her new line; accessories made from recycled plastic bottles.
The Hills star has teamed up with eco-friendly company BlueAvocado to create XO(eco), a line of products made with fibres that come from used plastic bottles.
Speaking about the line, Conrad said: ‘We wanted to create an eco-collection of functional, really cute products so that people can be doing a good thing, but also look good while they’re doing it,
‘There’s so much buildup of garbage in our landfills and oceans and it’s compromising our environment, marine life and their habitats.’
The line will be available exclusively from Amazon.com, and includes shoppers, beauty kits and a special bag for holding straighteners or curling tongs.
