Holly Willoughby breaks fashion ‘rule’ and fans can’t deal at all

Cathy Donohue

Are you a fan?

For a long time, wearing certain colour combinations together was frowned upon, think black and navy or red paired with pink.

However, in recent years, fashion has ignored this rather dated rule and now wearing these tones together is practically encouraged.

Here at Her, we’re all about wearing whatever you like with the most important factor being that you feel comfortable and we wouldn’t be into any rules or guidelines decreeing what you should and shouldn’t choose.

For anyone that might be of the opinion that pink and red don’t ‘go’ together, take a look at Holly Willoughby’s latest ensemble.

Tuesday’s look includes a Reiss skirt, L.K. Bennett knit and boots from & Other Stories, boots that Holly’s become quite fond of recently.

Fans of the popular TV presenter love to react to her daily outfit posts and the latest one is no different.

A lot of people were surprised at the fact she chose to wear two colours that are traditionally seen as “clashing” shades.

One said:

“Not keen on pink and red together!”

Someone else wrote:

“Pink and red are a no no! #clash”.

Another commented:

“I never thought pink and red would go well together- well done for pulling it off”.

One fan was of the opinion that only Holly can make this look work.

“Only person in the world who can pull off pink”.

One of our favourite colour combinations on #HollyWilloughby today ?
